Please take the time to find your favorite authors on the web. Buying direct from her or her new publisher will ensure that she receives a higher royalty. Ebook resellers, while offering convenience, take upwards of 55% of the retail price, and when they offer sales or rebates, they take the difference from the author/publisher—not their own cut. Getting more royalties to the author will help her make a living off her talent and (hopefully) get you more work to enjoy.
